Brad Kaaya, QB, Miami

Brad Kaaya - 2017 NFL Mock Draft

The Goods:

School: Miami Position: QB Class: Junior Height: 6-4 Weight: 210 lbs Projected Draft Round: 1-3

Quick Quote:

“When in rhythm and feeling safe in the pocket, Kaaya is often able to locate and attack mismatches in the defense, showing the savvy of an NFL veteran by looking off defenders before dumping it off or gambling on deep throws following pre-snap penalties.” –Rob Rang, @RobRang (7/28/16)

Scouting Report:

Looks the part of an NFL quarterback with the ability to read and dissect defenses, excellent pocket presence, and a tall frame. With a staggering lack of pro-ready quarterbacks coming to the NFL in recent years, Kaaya will have an advantage over most quarterbacks coming out of college, with the ability to find the weakness in a defense, look of defenders, and get the ball accurately to the open receiver. He has a bit of a hitch in his delivery, and could stand to put some muscle on his long frame.
