Adoree Jackson, CB, USC

Adoree' Jackson -NFL Mock Draft

The Goods:

School: USC Position: CB Class: Junior Height: 5-11 Weight: 185 lbs Projected Draft Round: 2-4

Quick Quote:

“Spectacular three-way player with a flair for the dramatic. Jackson will concentrate more on refining his cover skills this fall, but he is capable of delivering splash plays as an occasional receive or returner for the Trojans.” –Bucky Brooks

Scouting Report:

Absolutely explosive and electric as a returner. Has played at wide receiver as well, but concentrating on cornerback now. Role in the NFL will definitely be as a returner, and will need to work throughout this season to polish his skills as a cornerback. Off the charts athletic ability, but technique is raw as a defensive player. Smooth and fluid, and can play inside and outside. Needs more experience at the cornerback position, but should be a part of an offensive package for whomever drafts him.

  1. For a guy who only played one season of full time CB Adoree acquainted himself quite well…one of the prime reasons USC handdd the Dawgs their only regular season loss was the play of Adoree against Toss, the Husky wunderkind WR…I would certainly start him out as a slot CB & returner & go from there…if he adepts to defense & expands his repertoire to include starting CB duties I would then entertain the possibility of implementing an already drawn up “package of plays” Jackson could run as a hybrid Danny Woodhead/Julian Edelman/Tyree Hill/Darren Sproles Swiss Army Knife…

On st’s I think of Devin Hester; only thing I saw him do in college was return kicks & punts…For Adoree ST contributions are the proverbial “bag of chips…”.

A true three way player (wonder if he has handles & can hit a curveball) that derives his explosiveness from a track background…J salivate to think how he could not only contribute to a team’s literal overall success & save a roster spot or do because of his versatility; probably his second best characteristic (company fire #1) intangible…this guy wants to win!!!
