Scouting Report:

Allen has recently grown into his frame, as he had a very slight build coming into college, but is developing into a premier pro-style quarterback prospect. Experienced under center and with good footwork, his time in a system similar to what he can expect in the NFL should boost his stock. Very efficient release, and puts a lot of velocity on the ball. Good footwork and knows how to shuffle his feet instead of panicking and looking for running lanes. Very nice foot shuffle to climb back into the pocket and get to his optimal release point. Needs to continue to improve his touch on short and medium length routes. Didn’t have great numbers in the past two seasons but that may be more due to the talent he was working with than any comment on his ability.

  1. I forsee the Denver Broncos drafting Wyoming QB Josh Allen in Round one of 2018 NFL Draft. Broncos GM went to personally scout, and evaluate Josh Allen at the Idaho Potato Bowl which Allen played in.

Josh Allen reminds me of John Elway because of his size, cannon arm, Athletic ability and mobility. Allen will have to significantly improve his accuracy in the NFL for greater success at the NFL level, but his upside is limitless.
