Very well balanced as both a pass rusher and run defender, and the key piece to the USC defensive line. Will probably be best suited as a left defensive end that can move inside on third down and other obvious passing downs. Has continually improved his technique, both with his hands and footwork, and has a lot of areas that he can continue to improve such as adding more pass rush techniques. Looks like a left defensive end in a 4-3 that can stop the run with some pass rush skills.
