Scouting Report:
Despite not being a starter on perhaps college football’s best defensive line that sent 3 players to the NFL, Hurst was still able to be productive as a rotational player. Wanting a chance to show he can carry the load as the anchor of a defensive line, he stayed back for his final year. Already proven as a one gap penetrator going in to 2017, coming back proved to be a smart choice. Though undersized, combines strong technique and strength with an explosive first step. Nimble with quick feet, he can get around blockers and attack the passer from multiple angles.
