Stepping in for a legendary Alabama Safety, McKinney hasn’t missed a beat living up to the expectations of an Alabama d-back. Has a laser focus on the ball, and fights to break up or catch any pass in his vicinity. Very good anticipation, and is able to balance his attention between the QB and the receivers in his area as the play develops. Gets to the play quickly, even when away from his responsibility. Not a thumper, but excels in blitzing and taking correct steps in getting to the QB.
