A move forward thumper that does an excellent job at monitoring the gaps in front of him and moving downhill quickly to make tackles. A sound tackler, Cabinda is adept at doing the dirty work in the middle of the defense, allowing other players to roam. An ideal 3-4 ILB that maintains the running lanes, he can improve his stock, the more range and agility he shows through the process.
